OxEon Energy was selected to be a part of the Utah Science Technology Acceleration and Research (USTAR) Technology Acceleration Program (TAP). This program assists newly established science and technology-based companies in the state. Through this initiative, the State of Utah provided grant funding for OxEon Energy to accelerate its SOEC (Solid Oxide Electrolysis Cell) technology development. The goal of the USTAR program and the TAP initiative is to provide a financial stimulus for Utah’s promising emerging science and technology companies to grow and provide future tax funds to offset the state’s investment. This contract has helped OxEon improve its SOEC technology and provides a technical basis for future customers.
